Our community
People of the Word. People in the Word.
United by faith and purpose.
The Word exists to help people know Jesus, grow in Scripture, and live out their faith. Through creative resources rooted in God’s Word, we want to encourage believers, welcome the curious, and point people back to the truth that changes lives.
It all begins with the word of God ✦
Why The Word began
I’m Isla, the founder of The Word. For 21 years, I looked for identity and fulfillment in what I could accomplish. When I met Jesus in 2023, He changed my life—and His Word became the foundation I didn’t know I needed.
The Word grew from a desire to use the gifts God gave me to serve others. What began with a journal has become a mission to create resources that help people draw near to Him and carry His truth into everyday life.
Our heart
We want to help you know God’s Word, understand it in context, and apply it as you follow Jesus. This is about more than owning something with a Bible verse on it. It’s about becoming people who are rooted in Scripture, built up in love, and equipped to share the hope of the Gospel.
Be part of the mission
We believe what God is doing through The Word reaches beyond this shop. Our hope is to strengthen believers, reach those who don’t yet know Jesus, and serve people in need. We’ve committed 70% of profits to nonprofits helping fight starvation.
Whether you’re here for a journal, encouragement, or a place to begin exploring Scripture, you’re welcome. Our prayer is that what you find here draws you closer to Jesus—and helps you bring His light into someone else’s life.
With love, Isla
